well I couldn't help myself. I started another picture before finishing the last one. i didn't plan to. I was doing some random sketching this morning to pass the time and this is what came from it. Its not done yet- again just getting colors down first. Gives me a better idea of what its gonna look like in the end.
It was always my dream as a young girl to find a glowing faerie portal hidden away behind a rock or peculiar cluster of foliage. that never happened, but I still havn't given up hope. This is for everyone who had the same fantasy.
this is so magical! o___o can't wait to see the finished product The only thing I can think of is that it looks a little empty with no other creatures besides her (like bugs or perhaps bigger ones like mice?) sorry I can't critque but this looks really cool so far ^^
i totally can't wait to see the finished product! It looks so magical already~ <3
If I had any critiques, it would be to say that the child doesn't really seem to be able to see the portal. It kinda looks like she's looking at the space between the holes, though once I look at it a little bit more it seems like she's looking into the small hole. She looks like she's looking a little to the left of it to me. O:

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
